WTF?

OK, I have been the first to respond to opening offers and for some reason I have always been passed up for someone else. This has never been explained.

Now it has hit a new low. Ward Peterson sent another solicitation out for an owner that he, using his board of director powers, mysteriously brought on and has since dropped out after drafting a really bad team.

I was again the first to respond to HIS solicitation and now there is someone called Brook Harris in that teams role.

This is all very fishy to me. I see no reason why I cannot bring someone on board. If someone thinks I am cheating then I guess it is time for me to leave the league. I feel I have proven what I came to prove and I have one of the best teams going into this season again.

Also I not only think that the latest collusion in putting a predetermined team into the abandoned Brownstown Slot was the only questionable action on Ward Peterson's part.

I have doubts that there was ever another owner for Brownstown other than Ward Peterson himself. Brownstown entered the auction late and was not a player at all.

A quick look shows that Brownstown only traded with Ward Peterson. Both teams are in the same division.

Here are the trades:

Fri Jun 27 9:13:44 a.m. ET 2008:

Gridiron Gangsters / BROOK HARRIS Trade

Gridiron Gangsters gave up Year 2008 Draft Pick 5.02;Year 2008 Draft Pick 6.05

BROOK HARRIS gave up Year 2009 Round 4 Draft Pick from BROOK HARRIS

Grid Iron Gangsters get a 4th round pick next season for draft picks that he was not going to use.

Thu Jun 19 5:41:05 p.m. ET 2008

Gridiron Gangsters / BROOK HARRIS Trade

Gridiron Gangsters gave up

Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RB; Salary $2,800,000 contract years remaining 1
Taylor, Fred JAC RB; Salary $2,800,000 contract years remaining 1
Battle, Arnaz SFO WR; Salary $$1,500,000 contract years remaining 2
Moss, Santana WAS WR; Salary $8,900,000 contract years remaining 1
Year 2008 Draft Pick 2.13

BROOK HARRIS gave up
Gore, Frank SFO RB; Salary $2,783,000 which Grid Iron Gangsters franchised!
Burleson, Nate SEA WR; $4,400,000 contract years remaining 1
Year 2008 Draft Pick 2.06

Grid Iron Gangsters move up in the Round 2 of the draft, dump salary weight (Which includes 2 years on the Arnaz Battle contract) and get two good players for a low salaries.

I also found it odd that Ward Peterson sent out the email about Brownstown within hours of my proposed trade offer. I think the email was sent to an account of his. He also logged in as Brownstown to refuse my trade. Why would a commish do this unless he already had the password to the account?

I think Ward Peterson is a cheat but luckily he is not that bright nor is he that good at fantasy football so that is our saving grace.

Thank you for your time.

Well this just in... lol try to hold back your laughter...

* Suicide Kings offers McCown, Josh MIA QB;Warner, Kurt ARI QB;Watson, Ben NEP TE

* Flying Knights for Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RB;Finnegan, Cortland TEN CB; Year 2009 Round 3 Draft Pick from Flying Knights

Your quite the good samaritan offering those gems... I mean he (Flying Knights) has Matt Leinhart and Alex Smith so having these two back up QB's and a TE should be WAAAYYYY better than a stupid starting RB, CB, and a worthless 3rd pick...

Now everyone can see why you thought those other offers were bunk... They were 2 even for you to think were fair???

As anyone can see he does not have 2 clear cut starters at QB and Warner is an excellent backup for what he does have. McCown is currently listed as the starter in Miami. In a 16 team league that awards 6 points per passing TD and bonus points for long TD's I think having Warner to backup Leinart is fair.

I certainly wonder if you are going into any leagues this year with just Alex Smith and Matt Leinart as your starting QB's. I doubt it.

Ben Watson is a great backup (Esp for the price!) for Heath Miller. Better than what he has for sure.

MJD is OK but in a league where you only start 1 RB and return yards and TD's count I have better and am deep.

Getting a CB when I can have a safety at that position is not much at all.

But this is not about this trade. This is about me responding first to an open invitation and you getting it for your friend based on secret prior discussions.

This would all be very easy to rectify. The board should award the team to my bro and put your bud on the waiting list. It is not rocket science.

You and "your friend" may laugh at this offer but it just shows how little both of you know about football.

If you are so sure of the Smith/Leinart starting combo why not trade him your Eli Manning/Young combo for them? Or are you just all talk?
