I am entertaining offers for Jon Beason. I am not going to give him away but if the price is right, I'll pull the trigger.  I am looking for 09 and/or 2010 draft picks, and player(s) (RB/WR/QB).

Remember this is the one of the top 2 IDP considered by most and still has 2 more years under contract so he won't come cheap.

send an offer or email hawk265@hotmail.com

Why?

Seems to me that it worked out for both teams.

Bush, a 1st and a 3rd for a def player .  Never seen that in my life.  Defensive players are usually drafted in the 3rd rd.

In a redraft, yes. In a contract league, totally different. Beason has averaged about 90 points more per season than Bush. And, Beason is cheaper, and under contract for 2 more years, while Bush only has one year left.

Both teams filled a need.

What's the issue?

Huh?  I was not involved in this trade.

Which team is yours again?  We should trade some "3rd round LBs"...   Seriously.  Beason was a top-20 scorer last season in this league while Bush was barely a top-25 RB.  We start 3 LBs and 1 RB.  Do the math.

I have a feeling you are going to learn a lot this season.  2 points per solo really make LBs valuable (which could be the downfall of my own team this year, honestly).

At a glance is does look like a lot, but Beason has an extra season and will likely be a franchise tag for seasons to come.  Just because LBs are easier to come by I'd say Flint got the better end of the deal as well IF Bush can stay healthy.  Time will tell.

I assume you are one of the new guys...  sorry, I don't know you or which team is yours.

How about we revisit this at the end of the season.  I think you'll be surprised at the value of a top-3 LB in this league, compared to a RB#25.
