Since there wasn't a thread yet, figured I would put one out there with the deadline fast approaching.

Post any contract buyouts here, that haven't already been acocunted for heading into the 2009 season.

I carried over from the other thread for all dropped contracts that will count towards this year's cap, adding in drops already mentioned and the only one I saw that wasn't mentioned yet was Oklahoma with Donte' Stallworth.  Also included is taking out Ko Simpson off of Grim's list since he was a wire pickup.  I'll keep this up to date like the RFA tags in this post as updates are needed.  These numbers should be the ones reflected on the "salary adjustments"  under each team's roster once all drops are in and are changed on the site.

Question:

In the case of Mark Bradley, since Manhattan picked him up late last year, does that let Washington off the hook for the rest of his contract?

Also, the Renegade will buy out the last two years of Jason Allen's contract.

To the best of my knowledge, no.  Washington still owes the balance of the original contract.  When a player is cut, the contract is torn up and he is a free agent.  Being acquired by another team doesn't dissolve the financial responsibility of the original team.

But I could be very wrong.
