Hall has been a beneficiary of the Bengals actually playing with a lead for once. Teams are forced to throw more against them and the DBs will naturally show up on the stat sheet more often (primarily the CBs). To me, CBs are so streaky I tend to avoid them, but when one is on a hot streak like this, it might not hurt to jump on. Here's my take, in general, on this type of situation. A safety like Branch has a much higher floor than a CB like Hall. Meaning, his "off weeks" are higher scoring than Hall's off weeks (and occur less often). So, if you want steady and consistent, go with Branch. If you want to big weeks and will trade them for a few more stinkers, than Leon Hall is your better option.
Does that help at all? CLB |

It does and it sounds like I'll just ride it out with Branch. I really don't have the luxury to carry two DB's either especially when I need to find a DL bye week filler for Tuck.
Thanks for the insight CLB!
