Trade was proposed to me today in my league.
Get: SJax and Ricky Williams Give: LT and Roethlisberger Here is my current lineup: QB: Rodgers & Big Ben RB: LT, MBIII, Mendenhall, Maroney,Felix Jones,Donald Brown WR: Colston, D. Jackson, Manningham, Edwards TE: Clark I have been looking for a quality deal for either Rodgers or Big Ben. I believe SJax would fit in nicely, and I wouldn't miss LT. Ricky wouldn't be as much use to me, but you never know. As far as backup QB options on waivers, Cassel looks the most appealing. 10 team league, no PPR, start 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1QB, 1 TE The only downside I see is that Rodgers could go down seeing as he gets sacked a ton and I would be real thin at QB if that happened. I am currently leading the league, so not in a position for a desperation trade, but SJax would be an upgrade at RB. Also in a keeper league (keep 3). SJax should be a decent holdover for next year. Would you make this trade? Thanks! |

I like the trade... then you can trade some of your remaining for another qb or search the ww... but you wont miss much trading away LT.

Pull the trigger, especially in a 3 person keeper. S-Jax should outproduce LT this year. Also, S-Jax is young and LT has very little (if any) keeper value.

any deal that has LT in it should already be taken. I have LT and have been a supporter of him as a decent fantasy player but he just played his Oak and KC matchups so its a tough schedule for the most part the rest of the way. Plus Ricky Williams is a badass

in order for lt to be what he used to be he must stay ingury free, right now every time the playoffs hit he always is ingured and the play pittsburg the 1st round , he is a tremendous factor for his team and what he does best but at this day and age i think lt shouldnt be trade material at the moment

Although I am not exactly sure what the point was from the last reply other than you need to have a backup plan for Rodgers, I agree with the others that this is a good trade.
I still have Jackson in both leagues I drafted him in and have turned down a couple trade offers in one of those leagues simply because Jackson has been consistent which has been lost in the fact that he had not scored a TD until last week which could be the start of even better things to come. I like the trade. |
