Locker Room Question

Hey Rob-

Where does the Locker Room pull the "rank" from?

I thought it was the staff rankings, but I'm seeing major differences between the two in WR and RB.

For example, for PPR the Staff Ranking has Andre Johnson ranked at 3, and Steve Smith (CAR) at 8.8. However, in the Locker they are listed as 12 and 17 respectively.

Also, Slaton is 7.8 and Ryan Grant is 9 on the staff PPR ranking, vs 12 and 18.2 in the locker.

Interestingly, QB and TE match up exactly.

For reference (if it makes any difference) I'm using scoring system ID 4477.

In My Locker, are you viewing a league configured with a non-PPR scoring system? Ahh..4477 is 0.5 PPR. Maybe that's fooling it....

No, I used scoring ID 4477 and I show Grant ranked 8.6 (his PPR rank) and then load a league using a non-PPR scoring system (7150) and I get a ranking of 9.2.

So, I'm struggling to find a ranking mismatch between Locker and Rankings.

hmmm... everything is correct for me now, too.

Maybe there was a delay in the system translating staff pick updates over to the locker.

It definitely wasn't the 0.5 PPR though; I was seeing similar in my other league set up w/o PPR.

My Locker should show all ranking changes immediately. Give me a holler if you see this fishy behavior again.

Hi Rob-

It's back again.

Screen shot taken 10/15/09 at 10:15 am ET.

This is for the PPR league.

Note the negative rankings for Steve Smith and Andre Johnson (plus the 8.7 ranking for Driver, while the staff ranking places him at 18.25).

I saw your post in time to see it for myself, but the problem disappeared while I was debugging. It must have something to do with the average rank calculation as the staff is entering their rankings during the week.

I'll keep looking.
